In partnership with the San Diego County Suicide Prevention Council, the Recovery Residence Association is hosting an Virtual QPR Gatekeeper Training. QPR is designed to give members of the general public the basic skills necessary to recognize the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide.
As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper, you will learn to: recognize warning signs of suicide, know how to offer help, and know how to get help and save a life.
This training will be conducted entirely online and open to the RRA and ILA operators, house managers, and housing participants.
